Pastelmat is an innovation in the market for paper used in dry media. The paper’s properties allow for the application of multiple layers of color without oversaturation and significantly reduce the amount of dust generated during use. No fixative is required. Thanks to the paper’s smooth surface, blending colors is much easier. Pastelmat is a thick, acid-free paper containing fine cellulose fibers. It is very durable and retains all its properties even when moistened or rubbed vigorously with an eraser. The sheets in the pad are separated by sheets of transparent paper. 

The surface of Pastelmat paper resembles fine-grained sandpaper and provides the best base for dry pastels, charcoal, sepia, sanguine, sketch crayons, etc. Works created on Pastelmat paper can be protected using Pastel Revolution Freezer medium spray.

The pad contains 12 sheets of gray paper.
